Regular Check-Up Benefits

Your pet is an important member of your family, and just like any other family member, they need regular check-ups to stay healthy and happy. Not only will this help us catch potential problems early and provide us with a greater opportunity to treat them, but it will also give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is in good health. Plus, we are happy to answer any questions you may have about your pet and offer guidance on how to keep them fit and happy.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I make my pet less scared of coming to the vet?

If you have a highly anxious pet when coming to the vet, please let us know before you arrive. Different types of anti-anxiety medications can be given to try to calm your pet before they arrive. If you have a highly anxious dog, you can ask to be booked in for a garden consultation (weather permitting). In some cases, we may be able to give your pet injections or medications or do some smaller procedures, like removing sutures, while they are outside or still in the car. You are also welcome to bring a favourite food (unless fasting), item or toy to the consultation with your pet.
